Characteristics of the Löthonig®

When soldering using cored wires, the flux interior is heated as soon as the soldering wire melts, i.e. before it even comes into contact with the soldering point. With Löthonig®, however, the flux is applied cold to the soldering point. Only when the hot fluid solder is applied with the soldering tip is the flux heated to reaction temperature, initiating an optimum soldering process, as the Löthonig® is able to utilise its reductive force to the full in the soldering process, unweakened by previous loss of effectiveness.

Application

Even the very smallest reliable soldering points are possible (up to 0.5 mm Ø).
